There are a number of ways technology can help you grow your sales - directly, by adding a new or improving an existing sales channel - or, indirectly, by improving the way you handle your customers and prospects.
Direct
Examples of direct ways to increase your sales revenue are:
- to set up or improve an e-commerce sales channel;
- improve your web site to get a better position on the search engines to increase the number of leads coming into the business;
- improve the content of the your web site to meet the needs of your prospective customers.
Indirect
Examples of indirect ways to increase your sales revenue are:
- see if technology can improve your sales and marketing processes - for example, could you benefit by using a customer relationship management system;
- simply ask yourself whether your web site does what you want or what your customers want;
- evaluate how you promote (and sell) your products and services on-line to see if they match what your customers expect;
- apply consistent branding to all your web sites to increase customer recognition and loyalty.
